My recent stay at Mains Street Retreat was absolutely wonderful! the apartment was beautifully furnished and had everything I could possibly need, including a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, and microwave. the one-bedroom apartment also featured a cozy living room with a DVD player, perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring. the garden views were stunning, and the free WiFi throughout the property was a great added bonus. Located just 20 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, the retreat offered a peaceful getaway while still being conveniently close to the airport. the owners, Tina and Simon, were incredibly accommodating and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions. the attention to detail, from the fluffy towels to the thoughtful breakfast selection, truly made me feel at home. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the beautiful Carlisle Lake District area.
